Being the oldest of 6 siblings you learn a lot about babies, toddlers, children, and teens. You learn what makes them cry, laugh, and how to deal with different situations. I have 3 brothers and 2 sisters. I've learned so much from helping my parents raise them. While in high school, I took a child developmental class for 6 months. We were assigned a group of kids to handle for the duration we were there. I was in charge of 6 1st graders and our tasks for each day were different: arts and crafts, math skills, writing and reading, and sometimes team building on the playground. Now, 5 years later and a plethora of Early Childhood Development classes taken in college, I've earned my degree in Early Childhood and Adolescent Development and cared for more children than I can count. I love spending time to get to know them and hearing all their crazy stories. I can't wait to meet more of your little ones! :)
