Have been in the special education field as classroom educator, in home therapist, rehabilitation setting, and tutor. This has been my passion to help individuals with special needs and continue to have this same passion. Every individual should have every opportunity to learn, to be empowered so he/she can have a meaningful life academically, emotionally /socially. My students have ranged from Pre-K -12, and adults. Additionally, I have experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESOL) and teaching regular education. Per request, resume can be provided.

Simone and I met last year at the academy. I lead the physical education program for Atlantis. Atlantis focuses on special needs students. When I first arrived, Simone welcomed me with open arms. She was always available when I needed assistance. Her class was extremely difficult. Children whom had a variety of learning issues: Autism, anxiety and behavioral issues. She was always calm and patient. Looking back, I really do not know how she did it. The next school, business and/or company that hires her will be extremely fortunate. I am a better person and teacher because of her teaching and work ethics. I am honored to be Simone's reference.
