I worked as an aide for children with special needs in our school district for five years. My background prior to this job has always been care-taking. I cared for my father with ALS for 10 years with a trach and feeding tube. I have worked in a nursing home as an activity director and for a service as a companion. I am hands on and feel that I am called to serve others. I have worked with children up to 22 years old with a range of disabilities, both physical and mental. I have also worked with adults. I worked with elementary students for four years with MISD and high school students for one year. I am very comfortable taking care of your child with special needs; I love these kids.
