I have a 19 yr old special needs son that I adopted from the state at 3 month of age. He was born with a brain abnormality and that has caused many challenges. Epilepsy, slow learning, mental retardation, and much more. He is at the age now that he can stay home by himself for a few hours (he has a phone and can call me if he needs me). But if the job requires a long day, I will need to bring him with me. He is no trouble as he plays on his phone.
