About Shelley

I have worked in various preschools and private schools with children over the last 20 years. I have college credits in Early Childhood Education and have obtained many on going class trainings related to the care and safety of children. I am adult/child and infant CPR certified. I love to incorporate my classroom experience into my home care service by doing fun learning activities with the children. I am a certified personal trainer and a youth fitness specialist, so when given the chance I love to be outdoors. I recently moved to the Portland, Oregon area from Las Vegas, NV. There I was a kindergarten teacher aide, I taught an after school youth fitness program and did p/t nanny work for a wonderful family of 6. Prior to that, I was a nanny for 3 years for another family I met through care. com! I also offer pet services. I am an animal lover! I believe diet and exercise and a ton of affection are needed for a healthy, happy pet! I am available for walks, feedings and home visits.
