As a recent high school graduate, I am excited to follow my passion and begin a career as a nanny. My interest in working with children was sparked by the four summers I spent working with special needs children at an extended school year program in my community. I was also inspired by my mom, an elementary school teacher, work with her students throughout my childhood. During high school I maintained a GPA between a 4. 0 and a 3. 2, I was involved in many clubs such as Art Club, Sustainability Club, and was President of the French Club. I enjoy art, music, travel and getting outdoors to play! In October 2013, I accepted a job at a daycare which cares for up to 12 kids at a time. As a result of this job, I have experience caring for multiple children at once whose ages range from 8 months to 5 years old. I am First Aid and CPR certified. In addition, I am certified by Child Care Training. org for "Safe Sleep in a Childcare Setting," a course which teaches care providers how too reduce the risk of SIDS in their place of work. Preceding my daycare experience, I possess three years of babysitting experience. I also held a short-term morning nanny job caring for two middle school aged children.
