I am a 26-year-old stay at home mom to a smart intelligent 4-year-old and also a silly yet sassy 16-month-old.
Ive always been a worker, I have worked full time at the same place since 2006 but quit my job when our daughter was born in April of 2014. My husband knew I loved being home with the kids, and told me to just stay home with the kids until I was ready to go back to work. I love kids of all ages, I believe that socializing children is very important, so it lead me to reach out and babysit other children. We currently moved to Howell in November of 2014 so that my husband could be close to work, which is the police department. We live in the country on a dirt road so walks in the summer are a daily routine for us, also our backyard is like a mini playground. We have a new wood swing set, play structure, ride one toys, water table, slides, and much more. On rainy and cold days we spend it inside doing some arts and crafts, we have a playroom, along with 2 bedrooms that are full of toys. I do believe kids need to have an imagination these days so TV time is limited, we do movies and educational TV shoes. We do have an iPad that we let our kids take turns playing ABC mouse or alphabet games. We are a pet friendly home, we have 2 dogs which we do keep locked up when company is over. Our schedule is very flexible so last minute calls are fine, or staying after at work is alright too. Its more about the kids socializing then anything to me.
