Shana was a true God send. My mother who had been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer had moved back to be close to my family (my husband and 2 kids). I was expected to care for her while watching over my own 3 year old and 1 year old, which was adding stress to on all of us. We needed someone to help us out.
After an interview at a coffee shop I knew Shana was the one. My mother quickly became friends with Shana as she took on responsibilities such as cooking, cleaning, running errands, taking her to hospital appointments, assisting with her physical therapy and more. Even after my mom moved further out into the suburbs, Shana continued to care for her multiple times a week. She was dependable, caring, and my mother looked forward to her days spent with Shana.
In the end, our mother passed away, but Shana was with us and her until that last day. She had become part of our family and we are forever grateful for her.
