About Selena

My name is Selena and I am very confident in my capacity to work with children of all ages and abilities. I am currently enrolled in grad school to become a pediatric occupational therapist (OT). I will have a very demanding and busy schedule so I am ideally looking for an "as needed" babysitting position. My most recent job title was a Rehab Aide at a pediatric Speech Therapy/OT clinic. Prior to that, I worked as a 'family coach' for adopted children and their families. These kids came from very traumatic backgrounds and my job was to provide mentorship and support to the children and their families. I completed my undergrad from Chico State, where I did a lot of volunteering with adults and children with disabilities. Throughout college, I babysat and worked at a local gym daycare. I am CPR certified. I am extremely patient and have a huge heart and passion for all children.
