About Sean

Hi! My name is Sean, and I am a lover of teaching math! I have spent six years teaching Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, and SAT Math in Philadelphia and Brooklyn with a history of strong student achievement and growth. While in the classroom, my students repeatedly outperformed students from within our district. For the past four years, I have served as the Principal of a High School, directly coaching and managing our Math teachers to create innovative, engaging, and high-quality lessons. I'm preparing to transition out of the Principal role and into district leadership, and I am eager to take on some additional tutoring because teaching math is a passion of mine! I am a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where I received my BA in International Relations and my MSEd in Urban Education. I look forward to working with your student!
