I have always been an active volunteer of special needs programs. I grew up helping my grandma with the Special Olympics. I then proceeded to being a teachers assistant for special needs classes, through-out middle and high school. I am now the proud parent of 3 children, including my 3yo son, who was born with a brain tumor. After the successful removal of his tumor, he developed a few side effects. He has hydrocephalus(and as a result has a shunt on the top of his head), diabetes insipidus, Sensory Processing disorder, and some developmental delays. I have always been very comfortable around all people and children, and I am happiest while helping others. Also I have been taught how to insert a nasal feeding tube.
