Hello! My name is Sarah and I am here to help. I am a 30-year-old graduate student through Gonzaga online and am looking for part-time jobs to help pay for my education. I have a strong background in child care, special needs child care, elementary education, housekeeping and general administrative assistance tasks. I completed my undergrad at Trinity Western, taking courses in elementary education and special education. I spent two years as a student teacher, shadowing a student with fragile x syndrome. Taking a two year break from school, I became a Montessori school teacher eventually becoming a part time nanny for two of my students. I supplemented that income by becoming a certified nursing assistant and working with developmentally and physically impaired individuals in their home. After a year, I moved home to resume school and worked in an adult family home for two clients diagnosed with Down's syndrome. I also began working weekends at the local retirement home and after graduation I became the housekeeping director. Since then I've decided to pursue my MA and am returning to care work part -time as I complete my degree.
