About Sarah

After working as certified elementary teacher, I served as an Instructional Designer, working on curriculum development/alignment and providing staff development to teachers grades K-6. I then worked as an educational consultant for a local company that provided teacher training in best literacy and classroom management practices. My love of learning and teaching led our family to homeschool our twin boys from 1st grade through graduation, which afforded each of them the opportunity to grow and develop in his unique ways. One son lives with multiple learning differences, so I was actively involved in researching and implementing necessary interventions. Additionally, I was active in coordinating and teaching local homeschool co-op classes and organizations. Now that my kids are in college, I am eager to remain active in my community in a role that engages Pre-K - elementary aged kids and helps to meet them where they are.
