I have extensive knowledge and experience in working with Special Needs, Learning Disorder and Behavior Disorder children. Specializing in areas that include Asperger's, Autism & Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. I thoroughly enjoy working with "non-typical" learners and my passion for it has led to me working towards not only my Bachelors in Elementary Education but also in Special Education. I myself have ADHD and I find sharing my strategies and tips & tricks with parents and children who are dealing with the disorder, and helping those children who are diagnosed overcome the everyday struggles of the disorder and unbelievably fulfilling experience. I have learned through working with special needs children that patience and persistence is key. If one method or strategy for modifying behavior or learning a concept does not work with a child, try another.
