I worked at a home for individuals of all ages with profound and severe developmental disabilities. I was there from July 2011 until April 2013. I would create opportunities, and improve lives of children and adults with developmental disabilities, and address the physical and emotional needs of the individuals and their families. I'd help assist individuals with every day needs of living such as feeding, bathing, brief changing, relaxation programs, grooming, positioning, hygiene, dressing, care, and making beds. At the end of every shift I'd also chart on what the individual did that shift, and what/how much they ate/drank, and also anything that I did to help them that day.
