I even have experience caring for children alone for multiple days and nights while parents travel. I am a compassionate, patient, capable, and trustworthy nursing student. I deeply believe in the efficacy of Montessori education style and implement this with my child as well as those for whom I care. This means I offer as little health as possible and as much as necessary, in order to foster trust in themselves and their abilities, and independence. Studies show a direct correlation between vocabulary exposure and vocabulary development, so I talk all the time to my child and does for him I care. I have received the COVID vaccine and booster shot, so you and your family can rest assured upon hiring me.

Safiya has worked for us on an as-needed basis since October 2018. We met initially through her other job as a mobile head lice technician. When I saw how well my kids got on with her, especially my moody teenage boy, I asked if she would be interested in babysitting as well. She has mainly worked for us as a primary caregiver for our 3 children while my husband and I need to travel for work for anywhere from 3 days to 3 weeks. During those 3 weeks, she was the only adult whom my son had to care for him. She prepared meals, prepared my children for school, picked them up from school, made sure they arrived at their after-school activities on time, provided tutoring, entertainment, and a confidant when needed. She follows instructions well, goes above and beyond to help my teen who special mental health issues which demand medication, and mean he is extraordinarily confrontational at times. I will continue to place my trust in Safiya, and hire her when we have the need.
