I started a "babysitting" business when I was about 12 years old, and babysat my neighbors' children from infancy to Jr. High age. In my adult years, I have been a caregiver for grade school children while I was going to college. I have cared for infants on up to "hanging out" with a 15-year-old who needed an adult to be with her after school until her mom got home from work. I love children and love to play and go on outings, or just play games, draw, color, be creative or read to/with them. I have also been a reading tutor for K-6th grade kids through several non-profit organizations. I have been a substitute teacher for 4th grade children as well. I have well rounded experience caring for and working with children.

Ruth is a wonderful caregiver. She has been taking care of my little boy for 6 months now and is wonderful with him. He is a busy little guy and she keeps up with him and teaches even, teaches him new ideas. He is happy to see her when she gets to our house and is still happy when I get home. Ruth is very good at sticking to our well defined napping schedule and feeding times. She is easy to talk to and gives me a great update of how things went when I get back. She even sends me pictures of fun things he is doing while I am away. I really appreciate how responsible she is and her willingness to text or ask questions if something unexpected comes up. Ruth even folds clean baby clothes when he is napping or playing on his own, which is a big help. Ruth is caring, honest, organized and reliable. I have counted myself very lucky to have her. Please contact me for any further information.
