About Rose

I have 7 years of experience teaching and tutoring in various capacities. This includes 1-on-1, small group settings, and large class environments. Subjects range from simple elementary math and language arts, advanced high school writing, writing college and scholarship essays, and high school math. I also have experience teaching young children how to rock climb, canoe, ride bikes, kayak, and other outdoor sports. Similarly, I have worked with at-risk adolescents throughout my educational career. I completed my degree in English, Psychology, and Criminal Justice with University Honors. I hold a TESOL (teaching English to students of other languages) certification, and both urban and wilderness EMT certifications, and am constantly working on professional development. Whatever your needs are for a caregiver, tutor, life-coach, shadow, or anything else that requires acute attention to detail and care for a child's well being, I will meet them.
