About Rose

My name is Rose and I'm a certified Preschool Teacher. I've been working with children for 23 years. I'm looking to expand my career into senior care. I cared for my mom for 2 years after she had her first stroke. I helped her with bathing, personal hygiene, dressing, managing meds, meal prep, grocery shopping, laundry, light housekeeping, driving her to her appointments, and paying her bills. I managed to handle all of this while working part time as a nanny. Unfortunately, after she had her second stroke I was no longer able to care for her and had to place her in a 24 hour care facility. It was the hardest thing I ever had to do. After my mom was placed at rehab my dad came to live with us. He is in good health physically, but is suffering from dementia. My qualifications include: CPR certification, having cared for my parents for 7 years, having a lot of patience, compassion, and love. At this time I'm able to work 20-30 hours per week.
