Hello, I have given passionate care for my mother who had a stroke that left her left side unusable. I cared for her performing every care that was needed including med management and gait belt transfers from the bed to wheelchair. I also cared for my father who had dementia and was diabetic, performing his cares and supervision for many years. I also cared for my girlfriend who had ovarian cancer and foot drop. she had "chemo brain" and I provided nursing duties for her including giving injections of medications with a syringe. I was her caregiver, taking her to chemotherapy every week. I interfaced heavily with the oncologist, he said he never seen somebody so informative. The extensive interfacing was needed since she wasn't able of giving much information. I changed her dressing daily on both feet following surgery from the foot drop caused by the hospital. I installed grab bars and made modifications to the wheelchair so it would fit through the bathroom door. I'm your man.
