I worked with a pair of 10-year-old down syndrome girls. My responsibilities were getting them up, dressed, hair done, fed, and made sure homework was complete along with getting them to their school in the morning. The first few days they were unruly and did not listen, trying to push the limits to see how much they could get away with. Once they learned my personality and discovered I am loving but when I say something I mean it. They got with the program and mornings went flawlessly.
