My brother was in an accident when he was 11 years old. He has a traumatic brain injury and is in a wheelchair. My mother and my siblings cared for him in our home for 16 years, until we could find an awesome group home for him. I visit him in the group home with 5 other people with all different types of problems. He is 50 years old now and doing well. Being around a special needs person is no different to me than being around a regular person. It's all I've known and I would love to help you care for yours.
