I have 2 years experience as activities services facilitator for a community participation and site based day program. My clients have a wide range of developmental disabilities and support needs including: ambulatory and high functioning to total support utilizing wheelchairs, g-tube feedings and toileting. Clients would integrate into their community by performing volunteer projects. We would also visit museums, parks, botanic gardens, and other community events. I also have 2 years experience as an Activities Lead which was more administrative duties creating schedules for the clients weekly activities on-site and in the community. I loved providing my clients the opportunity to experience different activities. On-site activities included many crafts, sensory activities and science experiments. A big highlight was our weekly karaoke singing.
