During college I supported myself as a CNA. I did weekend and overnight care, as well as assisted living, private in home care, hospice, and skilled nursing facilities. I worked with early and advanced stages of dementia, stroke patients, paraplegics, hospice care. I am also a personal chef and have a broad based knowledge of many dietary plans and restrictions. My grandmother came to live with us during my adolescence. We had a very close relationship and I was responsible for caring for her several days during the week. This sparked a passion for geriatrics that I have until today.
