I have a medical background and worked in a hospital as a patient care assistant (nursing assistant) on a cardiology floor for many years. I have done hospice work and elder care and have many excellent current references that I can provide when requested. I truly enjoy my time with my clients and their comfort and care is very important to me. I have experience with Alzheimer's, Dementia, Stroke and Hospice. Renie was referred to me via a hospital social worker, which I thought was a competent start to my search for a home care provider. Renie turned out to be the best possible person I could have ever hoped to find to care for my dying brother and our family. She is smart, extremely competent, respectful, kind, sensitive, understanding, available, reliable, trustworthy, an excellent communicator, and a good problem-solver. She takes her work seriously, and individualizes her care to meet what each patient and family needs. She also has a great sense of humor! She communicates with sensitivity, and easily facilitates any difficult topics. She is helpful in oh so many ways. If it were my choice, I'd have Renie care for myself and all of my loved ones. No need to look further. I recommend Renie highly and without reservation.
