I am 21 years old and a full-time student at Christopher Newport University in Newport News, VA. When not at school, I live on my family's farm in Loudoun County. The past 3 summers, I have been a summer camp counselor for special needs teens and adults ages 14-21 with various disabilities (Down syndrome, autism, developmental disabilities, emotional disabilities, etc). I also grew up around special needs children including my uncle who has Down Syndrome. I am a very mature and qualified caretaker who is always willing to learn new things. I am CPR, First Aid, and MAT certified. Right now I am earning my Bachelors degree in Sociology as well as two minors in Psychology and Childhood Studies.
