I have 4 years of volunteer experience, working directly with children and adolescents through therapeutic horseback riding programs. Diagnoses included Down Syndrome, autism, Cerebral Palsy, MD, Spina-Bifida, and ADHD. I have 5 years of volunteer experience working summers at a camp specifically for kids and adults with special needs. Responsibilities included one-on-one assistance with ADL's and various activities (horseback riding, swimming, high ropes, etc.). Diagnoses included blind/deaf, Cerebral Palsy, MD, AT, autism, Down Syndrome, and other intellectual and developmental disabilities. I have worked for 4 different families as a caregiver for their children with various special needs, both teenagers and adults. I am CPR and first aid certified, as well as Medication Aid certified. I graduated with my bachelors degree in speech-language pathology, and have recently moved to Fayetteville to earn my masters degree at the University of Arkansas.
