Hello! I have 10 years of experience in educational settings, including high school and higher education. Most recently, I have managed a disability services office in a Boston-area college for 4 years. I can provide nanny and tutoring services for children, especially tutoring and academic coaching for students age 10 and older. I love working individually with students to identify what their strengths are, and use those strengths to improve areas that are not as developed, such as organizational, planning, and critical reading skills.

Rachel and I were colleagues who worked closely together in the same department at a college. With my oversight of Academic Assistance and hers of Disability Services, we academically supported the needs of higher risk students by implementing best practices with the limited resources available to us. In the few years I worked with Rachel, I considered her to be a budding expert in the field of disability support services, as she researched and wrote much needed policies around accommodations for students in the community, and became an essential resource for all of us on campus who sought to implement best practices in supporting students who needed accommodations. She has working knowledge of the legalities and intricate details of the ADA, and gracefully balances that knowledge with excellent academic support of the student body. Additionally, Rachel's work ethic is impeccable. She is highly innovative in her thinking, and should be considered an asset to anyone who is fortunate enough to have her on staff, supporting their students. I would highly recommend Rachel in any position that supports the academic trajectory of students and their holistic development.
