I will not be available until the beginning of September.
I have worked as a nanny off and on since I was 16. My first nanny job was caring for two children, ages 2 and 6, for the summer. I was also responsible for light housework and cooking. My next job working as a nanny was for a family with three children, ages 3, 6, and 15. I was responsible for getting the kids to and from school, taking care of the 3-year-old at home, light household chores, and running errands. My next position was with a family with two children ages 10 and 12. The younger boy was a special needs child. His mother suffered an uterine rupture during delivery. This resulted in his having cerebral palsy, epilepsy, microcephaly, Autism, and an explosive personality disorder. I was responsible for caring for him, getting him to and from school, playing with him in the afternoon, and assisting the mom in outings and errands. I also was responsible for laundry, dishes, grocery shopping, cooking dinner, caring for the pets, and other general household duties.
Now that we got all of my experience out of the way, let me get down to the good stuff. I love children! I love hanging out with them, and having fun. I love going to parks and museums, and coloring, and crafts. Being the second oldest of eight brothers and sisters, there is never really a dull moment in my life, and I like it that way!
