Peggy has worked for me several times over the last 8 years as the need for help arises in my household.
She started out helping with housecleaning. As I got to know and trust her more, she began also helping tutor/assist with my special needs son, and assisted with child care as needed. She became a trusted member of our family (I am not quick to trust people with my children :). I trust Peggy.
3 years ago, we made a move out into the country. With the extra distance, and kids getting older (less need for extra help), we parted ways for a while.
Several times since then, Peggy has stepped in to help for my elderly mother with mild-moderate dementia. Even though this is a different role, she is still very capable and has cared for my mother with the same grace, gentleness and dependability. She actively sought out activities to keep my Mom's mind engaged, remained up-beat, dependable, and my Mom just loved being with her. I didn't have to worry about my Mom. Peggy was with her.
