I'm a certified medical assistant, CPR trained experience caregiver with in-home and assist living facility. Assisted with daily needs including transferring in & out of bed, shower, automobile, feeding, doctor appointments, family visit and routine outings. Administered medication and wound care as directed by doctor or nurse. Aided in walking, physical therapy, exercise, range of motion, turning positions and cognitive skills. Monitored symptoms and vitals associated with medical condition. Performed household duties: light housekeeping, cooking and meal prep. I stand strongly by the need of emotional support as well as physical. Patients need to know the person caring for them has compassion, understanding, empathy as well as patience for whatever they might be going through. This gives them a sense of ease and peace of mind. I try to go above and beyond to put a smile on their face and brighten their day.
