I have been working with severe special needs kids since I was 14. I am currently getting my double Masters and EdD in Mild/Mod and Mod/Severe Special Education with a thesis in inclusive based practice for teachers to better prepare for students with exceptional needs. I am doing most of my research and work with kids all across the spectrum and kids with other exceptional needs. If you'd like me to be your child's one on one aid at school I am looking for that work or even babysitting opportunities! I currently work in East Oakland as a 1:1 for students with severe trauma and exceptional needs. I'm your dude if you ever need a date night or a rest! I'm always happy to help! I hardly even know where to start with Patric. He babysat for my two (very energetic) boys for about a year and a half (and still sits occasionally). They are VERY challenging kids to take care of. Both are ADHD and one with Tourettes and various other complicated issues. Limits are super important in the care of these children and he reliably and consistently keeps them safe and in check with warmth and love. He became a part of the family. He's amazing. I couldn't speak more highly of his aptitude for caring for complicated children!
