I have a passion for working with special needs clients and their families. I have been a Employment Consultant and have found meaningful jobs for them in their area. I then work on their jobs with them and support them to do tasks on their own and help them to find other ways to work independently. I am currently finishing up my certificate in Peer Support Counseling to hopefully work in a school setting with people with disabilities and or people with anxiety and or drug abuse, in families or suicide. I also love working with a family that needs help with someone that would like to work independently with me. Taking to the store, helping with errands doctor appointments etc. I am not in a position to work with someone that needs bathing or toileting at this time as I have some restrictions in my back, no more than 35lbs of lifting..
