Hi! My name is Olivia. I am starting grad school to get my MSW up here in Portland and looking to work part time! I have worked with folks with special needs since I was in high school. I traveled to Vietnam to work at a children's center where I had the opportunity to work with kids who are physically and mentally disabled. In college, I studied Psychology in order to develop further understanding of various special needs and disorders. I have taken courses such as Abnormal Child Psychology, Social Psychology, and Cognitive Psychology. I taught/tutored adult learners in a class aimed to prepare for their GED and college curriculum, and have worked with younger school children in an after school learning environment. I am available full time throughout the summer, and part time beginning in September.
