About Nyanda

My (non-professional) experience in child-care began when I was 12 years old. My mother got sick and I had a very big part in helping with his care and upbringing. Although I was very young when this happened, it taught me a lot about children and helped me to see how important it is to consistently teach, show unconditional love, and get to know them as individuals so that they grow up with confidence in themselves and in their caregiver. I am currently studying psychology and am planning on getting my doctorate. I have taken care of children from a variety of backgrounds and have experience with both babies and children with special needs (i. e. autism). Along with cooking and cleaning, I have helped potty train, aided in finishing homework, helped build routines alongside the parents to help establish consistency and taking the little ones on all sorts of adventures! I'm currently looking for a part-time position! Hope to hear from you soon!
