Educated as a Chemical/Mechanical Engineer, my work included Chem/Petrochem Plant Design and Nuclear Power Plant Safe Shutdown System design. I ended my career as a Home Builder creating beautiful products for wonderful people. I have been tutoring kids and coaching sports all of my life. My philosophy is not to teach, but to paint a picture and accompany your child on our mutual journey. Attention/Socially challenged kids are the most fun for me. Always patient and joyful, your child's experience will be a pleasant one. Core subjects include math and science (what could be better), history (yeah really), English/reading/Writing. The number 1 question from my students is, "when will I ever use this ?" Using history, humor and metaphors, the utility magically appears. "It's all downhill from there."
