I am a recently unemployed, due to COVID19, secondary social studies public school teacher. I am looking to connect with a family who needs childcare and/or assistance with Distance Learning/Virtual School. In addition to my public school background, I also worked for a Montessori school for 4 years and have experience with infants - junior high students. I finished my B. A. in Sociology with a minor in English in 2016 at Western Washington University. Today, I hold a Florida State Temporary Teaching Certificate (2021) and am Mental Health First Aid certified (2022). During her senior year in high school and for the past two summers, Nikola worked as both a classroom assistant for Infants through Elementary age children as well as an Administrative Intern at our school. Nikola works well with children of all ages and in addition has she has a wealth of knowledge and experience in Montessori Philosophy. Nikola is mature, warm, calm, engaged and responsible. Exceptionally professional in every endeavor she takes on and extremely efficient and capable. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Nikola to care for my children, or as a personal assistant.
