My experience with special needs children began at 16 when I started coaching swim for special olympics. After completing my college degree I went on to to pursue a career in special education, working in preschools, classrooms, day cares, after school programs and as in home ABA therapist. The pandemic has left a lot of families without a solution to schooling in the fall, and I'm hoping to fill that gap. This might be even more important for children with special needs. Because of my experience, I am uniquely trained to carer education to all kinds of needs. My goal would be to create a pod like school wit kids around the same age where I teach your kids either utilizing distance learning or with a homeschool curriculum. I am happy to incorporate nature, wildlife, exploring as well as traditional school subjects such as math and reading. If you are in search of a sustainable and safe schooling option this fall let's touch base and find the best option for your little ones.

We hired Nicole as a nanny for our 18 month old son with special needs. She brought some really valuable skills to the table, specifically with total communication methods and sensory play activities. She was an active participant in his virtual physical therapy sessions and was diligent in helping him continue his exercises to gain strength. She was a champion for him and was very warm and loving towards him. However, we did struggle in several areas when it came to being Nicole's employer. She did not meet our expectations in terms of reliability, timely communication by email & text, or professional maturity and we would not hire her again.
