I am no special needs specialist, but I have extreme patience, understanding of what certain disorders such as diabetes, autism, ADD, and ADHD do to a child's body and how it affects their behavior. I have experience watching school age children with these special needs, and although it is more of a challenge compared to a different babysitting job, it is worth it. Every minute spent investing in the life of a child is to be treasured.
