I have been working with people with special needs for 3 years. I worked at an Academy for 2 years and then left when I had my child. Now I am back at the academy working in a group home setting where I help autistic adults with everyday activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and medications. I love what I do for a living and want to branch out and begin working with other special needs people. I am good at what I do and I come into work everyday with smile on my face. I have been working with special needs people for only 3 years but I have been a caregiver since the age of 12. I'm looking to continue my career as a caregiver and go back to school to be a CNA soon.
