For the last year, I have enjoyed working as an ABA therapist. I have provided one-on-one instructional and behavioral support, using ABA techniques to children, adolescents, and young adults ages of 3 to 22 in homes, at schools and at the center. These experiences have helped to further develop my ABA skills beyond my academic studies and experience as a special education teacher. I have become a more compassionate individual who looks at each student's unique goals, needs, and interests. Whether I was a student teacher, a head teacher or an ABA therapist, I worked as a team player. This resulted in being able to build strong relationships with other professionals, staff members, parents, and students which made it possible to create the best education and behavior plan for each individual student. In addition to working with children and youth, I have been fortunate to work with several adults with varying disabilities in Germany as well as the USA. While working with adults, I was challenged to be creative, nurturing and most of all, patient with people who were my own age or older.

She works well as part of a team. She asks questions of and takes suggestions from her supervisors. She communicates with other team members and she works with the clients' parents to summarize the session and show them how to carryover skills into the home environment. She is a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend her.
