I was a paraeducator and intern teacher in moderate/severe special education settings for just over 5 years, until I decided to go back to school and pursue a certificate in Early Childhood Education with a Program Director specialization. In the future, I hope to open a home daycare. I know some ASL, I'm strong at creating visual aides, and I've had some experience assisting students with cerebral palsy with toileting and G-tube feedings. I'm a very motivated and creative individual and I believe that I have a lot to offer not only your special needs children, but your neurotypical children and pets as well. I'm a big dog-lover myself. It's very important to me to have a positive and collaborative relationship with the families I work with. Families who share my passion for the arts and/or hockey a plus.
