Caring for the growth and development of children has been a passion of mine ever since I started babysitting when I was a preteen. My brother was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) at a young age which led me to my career choice working with children with special needs. Being able to help the children and their families achieve a better quality of life and happiness is the most fulfilling feeling in the world. I currently have four and a half years' experience at the Center for Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis. My experience is working with children with ASD and other developmental disorders ages 3-20. I have experience volunteering as a Bible camp counselor and with special needs programs/camps and events. I was a volunteer at a therapeutic horse farm working with ASD, developmentally delayed, and brain injury children and adults, a CCD teacher for my Church, and I volunteered at a local nursing home working with the Alzheimer's Unit.
