Hello. My name is Naquana. I am currently a counselor working with women and children who are victims of domestic abuse. Prior to me becoming a DV Counselor, my experience working with children began working as a residential counselor at Wood services school for the exceptional. For 5 years I worked with special needs children of all ages. I am experienced in working with children with intellectual and developmental disabilities, who are disable, blind, deaf, cerebral palsy, autistic, ADHD, and ADD. I have over 80 hours of training in fire safety, nutrition and education on how to prepare nutritional meals for children. I am also CPR and first aid certified. I have the skills to manage special equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, leg and foot braces, and Hoyer lifts. I also have experience with babysitting outside of work. I am an aunt of 4 and an the eldest sibling.
