I am an experienced senior care provider who loves working with the elderly in a kind, professional and caring manner. I worked as a caregiver to a 95-year-old lady who is legally blind and has had Alzheimer's for almost 4 years. I treated her like my own mother. I assisted her with her daily activities. I fed her, gave her her medicines on time, bathed her, dressed her and fixed her hair while singing together. I also let her listen to audio books because she is blind, took her on walks with her walker in the afternoon after her nap, and accompanied her on trips to the doctor for her appointments. I also had a diabetic patient who has a colostomy bag; I assist her in cleaning and replacing it after I give her shower. I am a CNA, an honest, loving, caring, compassionate, attentive, responsible person to my patients, and a non-smoker with a clean record of driving. I want my patients to feel comfortable, happy, and maintain a sense of dignity, regardless of their physical limitations due to their age and sickness, because of the excellent care that I give them. Thank you for considering me.

I have known Myrna for approximately a year, primarily in her capacity as a caregiver for my adopted mother. As well, I have spent a limited about of time with her family, so I have seen Myrna from two different perspectives.
I had been caring for my mother since October 2010 and hired Myrna a year ago when my mother got to the point where she needed help bathing and going to the restroom.
Myrna typically would work 12-hour shifts, sometime during the week (occasionally on the weekends) and typically during the day 7 a.m. - 7 p.m., but she was flexible in her willingness to work in the evenings when the need arose.
Myrna knowledge of medical terminology, experience caring for elders, practical decision-making and positive attitude all make her care of my adoptive mother much better than I had expected. In addition, I was particularly grateful to Myrna for her willingness to work on holidays, to work shifts when others fell through and in finding other CNA caregivers when I needed to find a replacement or additional caregiver.
I would certainly recommend Myrna for a care-giving position where intelligence, reliability, hard work and trustworthiness are valued. On her behalf, I appreciate your consideration. Please call me if I can provide further information.
