My name is Mya and I'm an 18-year-old college student stuck at home due to COVID-19's affect on in-person learning. I attend the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee to study Clinical Psychology and Criminal Justice in hopes of becoming a Forensic Psychologist. With that being said, I'm flexible when it comes to hours due to my staying at home while completing my coursework. In the past, I've worked the summers of 2018 and 2019 as both a Camp Counselor and a Community Activities and Services member in the City of Beaver Dam. This past summer, I worked as a lifeguard at the Fox Lake pool with a heavy amount of children from the ages 2-8. Due to my experience as a lifeguard, I'm trained in both CPR and First Aid. I also have 3 siblings, one being a 6th grader and frequently needing my help with remote learning. In relation to remote learning, my senior year of High School I tutored Middle School-age kids through the PALS program. I love to paint, draw, make music, and bake.
