About Monica

I have over 40 years of childcare experience and am available for occasional events and/or consistent part-time positions. My greatest experience has come from being the mother of a 25-year-old son. For several years I worked assisting the director of a daycare center, filling in whenever needed in the classrooms. That position developed skills in managing multiple children, infant through preschool age. I have also served as a nanny for several families, with children ranging from newborn to adolescent. I have a strong knowledge of birth psychology, which provides great insight into infant/child behavior. Extensive study of, and experience in, child development and compassionate discipline has created a powerful and unique skill set.
