About Minicea

Hi guys, my name is Minicea! I am from Harlem. I am a rising junior at Gettysburg College studying psychology. I have worked in childcare for 6 years at daycares, day camps, and sleep away camps, with children as young as 3 and as old as 15. I also have experience babysitting for infants as young as 3 months. I enjoy arts and crafts, reading, parks, movies, and having fun! I'd describe my personality as kind, joyful, and patient. I like working with kids because I like seeing their smiles , watching their growth, and building their confidence. They motivate me to continue my pursuit in higher education to be able to take on roles that require patience and empathy, while building their educational skills and supporting their social and emotional needs. In my spare time, I like to go to museums, hang out with my siblings, mom, and friends, read, color, make friendship bracelets, and watch movies ! My skills include patience, understanding of child development, and creativity!
