I have experience working with many students with a variety disabilities as a resource room and self-contained classroom teacher. I have also tutored and taught students academic, behavioral, personal, and functional skills to be a functional person as a child or when they become an adult. Prior to becoming a special education teacher I have spent years babysitting children for friends and acquaintances and spent a full year working as a caregiver in an adult family home with disabled adults. From a young age I have loved to care for animals and any child I come in contact with. My strengths are devoting myself 100%, deep love for working with children, and an ability to connect with any child no matter their circumstances.
