I worked at Hospice of Gaston County, CaroMont Hospital where I performed counseling to families and patients experiencing medical emergencies and crisis situations. I also was a Mobile Crisis Clinician for three counties during my career. Most importantly I cared for my mother, father, brother and grandmother during the last few months of their lives. I have experience with urostomy care, bathing, medication management, oxygen apparatus, wound care, Alzheimer's patients, bereavement counseling and funeral arrangements. I believe with all my heart that GOD gives us all individual gifts and talents - many have received "the calling" early on and decided to become servants. I followed my heart and studied psychology and sociology at Appalachian State University and then after graduation was blessed by being able to find jobs that enhanced my gifts.
